The Alexander Credit Opportunities Fund (the Fund) has won the award for Best Fixed Income and Credit Fund at last week’s Australian Alternative Investment Awards in Sydney.
This year’s award comes after seven prior nominations and victories in 2013, 2015, 2018 and 2019.
The Australian Alternative Investment Awards honour fund managers that can deliver consistent, competitive risk-adjusted returns regardless of market movements.
The Fund invests in fixed income credit assets that are generally not available to individual investors, offering regular distributions and low volatility. Despite low interest rates and a flat cash rate, the Fund achieved an annual return net of fees of 5.86% for the year ended 30 June 2021 and has a current running yield of 6.14% before fees.

Over the last few years the Fund has attracted consistent inflows, with over $250m currently under management.
